A Little Something Different

I remember the first time I stepped into this store. You will too. They sell a huge array of scented products (candles, incense, perfume, etc) and the smell has permated the entire store. When I bought my wife a Christmas present from here, she knew immediately where it was from before she even opened the package because she could smell the store through the wrapping. This is the store you want to come so that you can find that little knick knack or decorating item that's a little something different. I can't recommend it on price. The items I have seen elsewhere are usually cheaper. Quality isn't anything special (it's good stuff, just nothing WOO! HOO! if you get my drift). But what I think sets the place apartment is the excellent staff who have always been cheerful and ready to help out. For people this good, a little extra cost is well worth the price.

For the Big Guy

So you're a big guy and you're tired of the ugly clothes you've been finding at the discount stores and you realize that the mall stores don't even have your size? Then you need to be at this store. Jeans, t-shirts, swimsuits, slacks, shorts, suit coats, jackets, coats, shoes... the list goes on. If it's a clothing item they probably have some variety of it for you and in a style that you'll be proud to put on. The only downside is the price. It's nothing extreme but it's certainly not that discount store price you're used to. But then again, the styles aren't the discount styles. If it's a little too high don't despair. Just shop the sales rack they have and you should be fine. It's worth the price.

Good shopping

So... you're looking for beef at good prices. You're looking for some seafood at prices that won't make you cry like a little girl. Maybe you're looking for a meat that isn't chicken or beef. This store has all of that and more. It has a huge array of spices, a large selection of produce, kitchen goods at very attractive prices (forget the dollar store for that inexpensive cookware, get it here!) and a selection of products both Asian and American. I will say that this place is different from your normal grocery store. You're not going to find most of the brand names you're probably used to. But if you're a cook and not just someone who assembles their food out of boxes and cans, then this is truly the place for you.

Sadly Gone

Sadly, this store is no more. I could lament it's passing for far more then the 250 word limit. Farewell Sportmans. You will be missed.

Excellent Experience

I had my car window busted out during a break in. When I called they gave me an estimate over the phone and scheduled me to have it fixed that same morning. When I went to the store to have the work done, they were polite and speedy. When they found my rear view mirror that had been ripped off the windshield in the break in, they even glued it back to the window for me at no charge. It's good to see quality work and I highly suggest them for anything you might need done.

It'll Do

If there is no other place to go shooting and I want to go shooting, well, I guess I'm just going to take up knitting instead. It's rare for me to run into someone on the shooting range side of the business who seems to care that I'm there. I've been signing in several times when the people behind the counter who had been helping me just started up conversations with someone else and then proceeded to help THEM instead. Only after taking care of the other person did they come back to me. Now the gun side store of the business is like an opposite mirror. I will say that they have a huge array of firearms and the staff is knowledgable about the firearms. And you'll be sure to hear this knowledge when the salesman descends on you like a bad parody of a used car salesman. I thought at first it was something isolated. But after having it happen several times, I can attest it's most of the salespeople. They'll help you out, they'll answer your questions and they will try their hardest to sell you a gun. Which as sales is their job but it does wear thin pretty fast. I will say a few positive things. They do have a huge selection of firearms. Their sales staff is knowledgable and helpful (just a bit TOO helpful). It is a nice range. But after being treated poorly by too many different staff members on the range side, I can't give them a great rating and I personally won't go back.

Gourment Food For You

Welcome to gourmet food with a friendly face. This little business in Edmond is a great place to shop for that gourmet food you probably can't find at the local grocery store. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and always ready to help you out. Saturday is a great day to come into the store as they usually have samples of the wonderful food they sell. It's a rare moment that I don't buy at least one product from their sample table. I think the best deal they have going is their monthly club. For a reasonable fee, once a month they'll put together a bag of a few different items, usually around a theme, that you can come pick up. I've found some great products this way that I would have never have looked at twice. It's like a great little grab bag full of tasty treats.

Good store

I've been coming to this Jiffy Lube ever since I got sick of sitting in Wal-Mart for two hours or more waiting on my oil to get changed. It does cost a bit more then Wal-Mart but getting in and out of the store in fifteen or twenty minutes is WELL worth the few extra dollars. To top it all off, the staff is friendly and do a good job. My only complaint was that when I first started going there they suggested that I replace my wiper blades. I agreed without thinking to ask how much it would be. Well that was my mistake. They installed some expensive wipers . They were very good wipers but if I had known the cost I would have backed out of having them do it. So it's less a problem with them and more my fault for not asking in advance. But just be forewarned that if you're going to have something replaced, ask what that price will be. Other than that, I've been very happy with the service and the people at this store.

Not Worth The Time

I will say that if you're looking for some cheap clothes, this is your place. Or maybe some cut rate camping gear, again, your place. Or maybe you're looking for that little feeling of being treated like a crook when you try to pay with a debit card and they take your driver's license and write down a ton of information on you. This place has been around for a long time and serves a niche but chances are you can find what you're looking for somewhere else with less hassle.

Worth the Drive

When I had my wedding and was being quoted outrageous prices for carnations, not only did Flowerama take care of me at a much lower cost but they also gave fantastic service. They're worth the drive from any part of town.
